It really doesn't matter who you are, what you’re interested in, where you live or if you have no computer experience at all, we want this site to have something for you. Listen and Learn Recordings promote friendly, easy to follow, informal but well structured audio introductions, tutorials and walk through's that are aimed at everyone from the beginner to the more advanced professional looking to get a running start with some new software or hardware. That's not to say you will only find computer related topics. If you want to hear about it, we want to record it! Use the feedback form to send your wish list off to the recording team.

All our audio is clear, free of background noise, with a relaxed and entertaining style and recorded by users with a genuine interest. When demonstrating a screen reader, the synthesized speech will always be easy to hear and understand and when necessary, text instructions will accompany audio guides to make instructions easier to follow.

LALRecordings.com now offers all our listeners free support! simply subscribe to the support mailing list and send your questions.

Since the inseption of the Listen and Learn recordings website, listeners have emailed the authors of tutorials with countless questions. Many of the answers to these are of benefit and interest to other people who have availed of these tutorials. A discussion group such as this will provide a place for all users to share their problems, questions and success stories and will increase the over all effectiveness of the LALRecordings service.

Team Talk

Listen and Learn Recordings now brings you voice chat. Talk to other users of the site and contribuotrs. No username or password is required. Simply start Team talk, bring up the connection window by pressing F2 and in the host field, type lalrecordings.com and your done. Leave the username and password fields blank and the ports as the default (1033). It's really that simple.

Donate to Listen and Learn Recordings.

A lot of time goes into this website. Each recording takes a minimum of two hours to complete. There are currently over 50 recordings on this site. Hosting of this services costs €150 a year because of the high volume of disk space that is required to host recordings. We would appreciate it if people who benefit from the service this site provides donate something toward the cost of keeping it running.

This is a non-profit site. As soon as the cost of the hosting has been made the donate button will be removed. A running total will also be visible.
